The human nose uses millions of cells to detect approximately 10,000 odors. Being one of the few bad smelly odors can be the difference between success and failure. 79% of people asked "does smell effect your opinion of somebody?" said "yes". Therefore people who have a bad odor, would be doomed to be frowned upon by this 79%.

Handsome always wins.
In the 1960 presidential race, John f Kennedy vs Richard Nixon, JFK narrowly won by 0.1% of the popular vote. Now don't get me wrong John was an extremely smart man, but not nearly as smart as Nixon. Remember this election had the first televised debates. The handsome, young, and well groomed Kennedy easily beat the older, awkward, sick looking Nixon. Nixon had more substance behind his debate points, but Kennedy's charming looks won the audience over. These debates are what won JFK the election.

Get away from me!
I have this friend(who I am not going to identify) that has horrible breath. I have noticed a trend that whenever my smelly friend start to talk to anybody, the people begin to step back further and further. Because of this person trash like smell coming from his mouth, no body will ever want to talk to him, meaning he will get no where in life.
